Book voucher eligibility is based on the remaining amount of the Pell Grant or SEOG award after tuition and fees have been deducted. SEEK students without a remaining amount on the Pell / SEOG may qualify for a SEEK book voucher.

If the remaining amount is at least $75.00, as noted on the unused column in the Awards Page on E-SIMS, you qualify for the Book Voucher. The book voucher amount ranges from $75.00 to a maximum of $400.00.

You may purchase books and supplies from the Lehman Bookstore utilizing the voucher as per the schedule posted at the Bookstore. The amount that is used from your voucher will be deducted from your Pell / SEOG award. Any unused portion of the voucher will be distributed with the regular award distribution later in the term. The Book Voucher Program generally begins during the first week of classes and ends about three weeks into the semester, so please use the voucher promptly.

Please note: The Book Voucher is based on enrollment and meeting all academic eligibility requirements for the Federal Pell and Federal SEOG award amount. Any changes to your financial aid or enrollment may affect your Book Voucher.
