1) YES, I have received an invitation letter.
a) Your first step is to complete the DS 2019 application.
b) Return the completed DS-2019 application form and requested attachments (including the department invitation letter) via email to, CUNY J-1 Responsible Officer (RO) Phyllis.proctor@lehman.cuny.edu
c) Once you have applied and received your DS-2019 please apply for your J-1 Visa and follow the remaining steps.
2) NO, I have not received an invitation letter

J-1 NON-DEGREE/DEGREE STUDENTS | BEFORE YOUR APPLY!Have you received an acceptance letter from the International Programs & Global Partnerships Office at Lehman College?
If you answered YES, you are eligible to apply for your Form DS-2019.
1. Download and complete the Form DS-2019 "Application" here and follow the instructions on this page after completing the application.
2. Return the completed DS-2019 application form and requested attachments (including the department invitation letter) via email to, CUNY J-1 Responsible Officer (RO) Phyllis.proctor@lehman.cuny.edu.
If you answered NO, you will need to apply as a Non-Degree or Degree Student and receive an acceptance letter before you can apply for your DS-2019.
