The Bronx Institute at Lehman College recently published Pathway to College: A Bronx Institute Quick Guide for GEAR UP Parents. This eight-page publication is a guide to the tasks that students and their parents must complete to be ready for college. In addition, it contains a guide to financial aid and a list of ten essential Internet links for parents of college bound students. “Pathway to College is the first in a series of Quick Guides to come, “ said Professor Herminio Martinez, the Executive Director of The Bronx Institute and a member of the Department of Middle and High School Education. “We hope that the Guide is a useful tool for parents and students as they prepare for the journey to college..”
