Player of The Week - Johann Yorke, Queensborough So. / F / 6'4" / Dominica

The athletic forward from Portsmouth Secondary High School in Dominica, West Indies posted 26 points and 14 rebounds in the win over Bronx, the Tigers fourth straight victory. Yorke shot 11 of 15 from the floor and collected 5 blocks. He is one of five Tigers averaging in double figures on the season as they have bounced back from a rough start to reach the .500 mark.

Rookie of The Week - Dustin Yeates, Kingsborough So. / G / 5'9" / Brooklyn, NY

The South Shore High School product continues to impress for the Wave. The 5'9 guard was instrumental in Kingsborough's back to back wins over Orange and Bronx. Yeates posted triple doubles in both games, averaging 27.0 points, 11.5 assists and 10.0 steals. On the season he is averaging a league-best 19.5 points and 7.9 assists.
