Player Of The Week

MIKE NEBAVLAKIS, CSI So. / F / 6'5 / Brooklyn, NY
The youthful Dolphins have regained their early season form with three straight conference wins, including a huge home win over York. The second year player out of F.D. Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn was the difference maker in both wins last week. Nebevlakis averaged 21.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 75% from the field (18 of 24). He also added 3 blocks and 2 steals in the Brooklyn victory while posting 12.3 ppg and 8.4 rpg this season.

The Bridges posted a 2-1 record last week, including an overtime encounter with Medgar Evers as Jean-Baptiste stepped up his scoring effort. The rookie out of Holy Cross High School in Queens averaged 17.0 points, 5.0 steals and 3.0 rebounds while hitting 19 of 31 shots from the field (61%). In the win over Evers, he scored 22 points on 8 of 10 shooting with 5 steals and 4 assists.
