Player Of The Week
JAMEES WRIGHT, Baruch
Sr. / G/F / 5'8” / New York, NY
Winners of the last six games, including three
last week, the Bearcats are looking to break the
20-win plateau for the first time. Senior forward
Jamees Wright led the way with 19.3 points,
12.3 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.7 steals. She
also went over the 1,000 career point mark in
the Centenary game while scoring 16 of her 23
points vs. CCNY in the second half to break
open a close encounter.
Rookie Of The Week
KELLY WEISMULLER, Brooklyn
Fr. / C / 6'0” / Brooklyn, NY
The Brooklyn standout continued her assault
on CUNY opposition despite her team's struggles.
The freshman from Brooklyn, NY (James Madison
High School) posted 18.0 points, 13.0 rebounds,
5.0 blocks and 1.5 assists in a 0-2 week
while shooting 56% from the floor. Weismuller
leads CUNY in scoring, rebounding, blocked
shots and field goal percentage - indeed a very
rare accomplishment for a rookie.
