STEPHANIE TRAHAN, BARUCH Sr. / G / 5’3” / Inwood, NY
The senior guard out of Roxbury Central High /
Inwood, NY has the Bearcats off to a 4-0 mark
including a 2-0 record last week. Trahan
notched 29.5 points, 7.0 steals, 6.0 rebounds
and 4.5 assists in leading Baruch to wins over
Lehman and Old Westbury. She also shot 36%
from 3-point range and 86% from the charity
stripe. Her 32 point outburst on the road versus
Lehman was a career high.

MELISSA ESCALERA, LEHMAN
Fr. / F / 6’1” / Bronx, NY
The Lightning rookie notches her first award
after leading her team with three straight doubledoubles
despite an 0-3 week. Escalera
(Stevenson HS) averaged 18.3 points, 13.0 rebounds
and 3.0 blocks while shooting 48% from
the field. A savvy and seasoned freshman,
Escalera is second in CUNY in scoring with a
20.6 average. She also adds 13.5 rebounds
and 3.3 blocks for Lehman.
