Player of The Week

Ameyaw  George Ofosu-Ameyaw, City Tech, Sr. / F / Accra, Ghana

A four-year player for the Yellow Jackets, Ofosu-Ameyaw scored a pair of goals in City Tech's 3-0 shutout over Baruch last week. Both of Ofosu-Ameyaw's goals in the Baruch game came in the second half. The latter score was a line drive into the left corner from 15 yards away. The senior striker leads the squad with four goals in five games so far this season.

Rookie of The Week

Ernard Pellumbi, CCNY, Fr. / F-MF / Bronx, NY

Pellumbi, a freshman from John F. Kennedy HS, is playing like a veteran for Ray D'Argenio's Beavers this season. In six games this year, Pellumbi has scored six goals to lead the Beavers in that category. In the team's only action of the week, he scored what would prove to be the game winner in the 65th minute. He also had an assist in the 4-1 victory.
