The junior continues to make his case for CUNYAC Player of
the Year honors after averaging 20.3 points, 12.7 rebounds,
6.7 blocks, and 3.0 steals per game last week. The Bronx, New
York native, who is currently second in the nation in blocks per
game (6.0), recorded his second triple-double of the season
with a 28-point, 16 rebounds, and 10 block performance in the
conference victory against Brooklyn last Wednesday. He followed
that up with 17 points and 11 rebounds in the league
victory against Medgar Evers on Saturday. The 6'7" center
opened the week with 16 points, seven blocks, and 11 rebounds
in the loss against Farmingdale State.

PETIT COLLEGE (MOROCCO) • ABIDJAN, IVORY COAST
The 6'4" sophomore made some key contributions as the
Bearcats were able to split a pair of contests last week. Despite
scoring just three points, the Abidjan, IvoryCoast native
was able to compile four steals, five rebounds, and a block in
the conference victory at CCNY on Wednesday. He finished
up the week with 10 points (5-for-9 field goals), eight rebounds,
and three steals in the loss at Lehman on Saturday.
The forward is averaging 5.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per
game this season.

2003-04 CUNY-NJAC CHALLENGE
This season the CUNY Athletic Conference and the New Jersey
Athletic Conference have teamed up for an in-season challenge,
pitting the ten CUNYAC teams versus the ten NJAC teams for both
men and women. The matchups were selected by order of finish
from last season. The will continue all season long and continue to
monitor the results.
