CUNYAC / Con Edison - Player Of The Week

The 6'7" center dominated the paint, averaging 15.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in a pair of contests last week. Even more impressive, the Bronx, New York native blocked an amazing 20 shots, 10 in each game. The junior recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime loss against Vassar and followed up with his first career triple-double in the Yellow Jackets 83-61 victory against Polytechnic, notching 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 blocks. The DeWitt Clinton grad and 2002-03 CUNYAC All-Star is averaging 16.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and an astonishing 8.3 blocks per game this season.

The freshman poured in 29 points to help lead Hunter to a thrilling, 110-108, double-overtime victory against Manhattanville last Wednesday evening. The 6'4" forward went 12-for-26 from the floor and connected on 5-for-9 from three-point range. The native of Bradenton, Florida also grabbed 6 rebounds and added 3 steals. The graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School is averaging 14.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game this season.
