The senior co-captain has helped lead Hunter to four victories in December. The native of Woodside, NY either won or improved on her personal-best time in 10 of the 11 races she entered. She captured the 1000 freestyle (13:31.79) in a conference victory against Lehman and was the runner-up in the 500 freestyle (6:41.55). She captured three firstplace finishes in freestyle events against St. Joseph's (LI). In dual meets against York and Baruch on the same day, she won the 50 (29:09), 200 (2:23.41), and 500 freestyle (6:35.32) races.

The Fresh Meadows, NY native has either won or established a personal-best time in 10 of the 11 races she has competed in this month. First she won the 200 freestyle (2:12.25) and 100 backstroke (1:13.20) in a conference victory against Lehman. She won the 100 freestyle (59.8) and 100 butterfly (1:25.20) against St. Joseph's (LI) and then won four individual events in the same day against York and Baruch. In those meets, she took the 100 freestyle (1:02.82), 1000 freestyle (13:06.41), 100 butterfly (1:12.54) and the 200 individual medley (2:36.01).

MANNY PANTIGA • SR • LEHMAN HS OF ECON. & FINANCE • BRONX, NY

The senior has enjoyed a tremendous month, winning six individual races. The Bronx, NY native turned in a strong showing at the ECAC meet (12/5), placing 13th of 64 entries in the 50 freestyle (22.74) and 20th of 64 swimmers in the 100 freestyle (50.94). He helped lead the Lightning to a league victory against Brooklyn, sweeping the 50 freestyle (23.78), 100 butterfly (59.75), and 100 freestyle (54.88). He also captured first-place in the identical events in Lehman's loss against SUNY Maritime.

JUAN JOSE VILLAR • FR • LEHMAN GORTON HS • SCARSDALE, NY

The Scarsdale, NY native has been a key addition to the Lightning this year. The freshman won three events in the conference victory against Brooklyn (12/8), sweeping the 200 freestyle (2:22.22), 200 individual medley (2:21.85), and 100 backstroke (1:09.59). He added three more first-place finishes in a losing cause versus SUNY Maritime, winning the 1000 freestyle (11:49.87), 200 individual medley (2:18.51), and the 100 backstroke (1:01.09).
