Player of The Week - ALEX ILCHENKO, Staten Island So., #1 flight, Brooklyn, NY

A new player in the Dolphins lineup, Ilchenko, lost just six total games in two CUNYAC singles matches last week. First he topped CCNY's Markus Muttenthaler 6-2, 6-4, on Monday. Then on Wednesday, the 5'9� sophomore beat Baruch's Witton Ng 6-0, 6-0. He also won both doubles matches played with teammate Dmitry Lutsker.

Rookie of The Week - DMITRY LUTSKER, Staten Island Fr., #2 flight, Brooklyn, NY

Ilchenko's doubles partner, Lutsker has been a welcome addition to head coach Bruce Knittle's lineup. He topped CCNY's Kinta Gumbs and Baruch's Eugene Balagula last week in singles matches. The doubles tandem won 8- 6, over Gumbs and Muttenthaler, followed by a 10-1 win over Ng and Joe Longobardi. These were his first two meets of the season for CSI.
