Player of The Week - RAY BELLO, Hunter Sr. / S / Bronx, NY

The Hawks finished the CUNYAC regular season with a perfect 14-0 mark (going undefeated for the first time since 1997), with two conference wins last week, behind the outstanding play of senior setter Ray Bello. While averaging 11.0 assists, 1.9 digs, 1.0 kills and 0.7 aces over nine games of action, the DeWitt Clinton High School alum, has the Hawks gunning for their third CUNYAC title in five seasons starting tomorrow. For the year, the Hunter captain is netting 6.99 assists and 1.73 digs.


Rookie of The Week - ROMAN SIDLER, Brooklyn Fr. / S / Brooklyn, NY

Sidler, a freshman from Brooklyn's Abraham lincoln High School makes the weekly awards an all-setter affair after helping the Bridges to a 1-1 week. In eight games, both CUNYAC, he averaged 5.5 assists and 3.6 digs, as Brooklyn finished in fifth place in the CUNYAC regular season standings. For the season the 5'5" setter is dishing out 6.8 assists and collecting 1.9 digs a game.

CAIACCIA WINS #100: With a win over Villa Julie College on Saturday, Hunter coach Lauren Caiaccia became the first woman to coach an NCAA men’s program to the century mark. She boasts an impressive 100-59 record in five seasons at the helm.
