CCNY's Niles Wins 3rd Player Of The Year Honor
March 25th, 2003
Bronx, NY - CCNY middle hitter Owen Niles won his third CUNY Athletic Conference Player of the Year award
in four seasons, as voted by the CUNY Athletic Conference coaches last night. A 6'3" senior from Brooklyn, NY,
has compiled 1,721 kills in a stellar career for the Beavers.
“As a former player at CCNY, I can tell you that Owen has easily been the best player in the history of
CCNY," said fifth-year head coach Robert Pichardo. “He is a phenonemal player on
the front line and has won many key matches for us. Hopefully, he will lead us
to the CUNY title." |
