Player of The Week

TRACY HANSEL, HUNTER So. / #1 / Mandeville, Jamaica

Hansel, a native of Mandeville, Jamaica, helped lead Hunter to a pair of conference victories last week. The sophomore went 2-0 in the #1 singles position and captured both of her doubles matches, also at the #1 slot. Hansel defeated her opponent from CCNY (6-3, 6-0) in and later won the doubles match (10-4) with her partner Rachel Swygert. She completed her perfect week by topping her oponent from Baruch 6-1, 6-3 and took the doubles match 10-6.

Rookie of The Week

SARA AYOUB, BARUCH Fr. / #2 / Brooklyn, NY

Ayoub, a graduate of Xavier High School, enjoyed a week worthy of Player of the Week honors. The Brooklyn native won both of her #2 singles matches and went 1-1 in doubles play.
