Player of The Week

KERRI KOSLOSKY, JOHN JAY Sr. / OH / York, NE

The native of Nebraska led the Bloodhounds to a 2-1 week. Koslosky, a senior, averaged 4.20 kills and 5.30 digs per game and hit at a .237 clip. She began her run with a terrific performance against Medgar Evers racking up 17 kills and 22 digs in a conference victory. She added 11 kills (.337 hitting percentage) and 9 digs in a loss to New Jersey City University and finished the week with 14 kills and 22 digs in a victory at Purchase State. Koslosky is averaging a team leading 3.56 kills and 3.78 digs per game on the season.

Rookie of The Week

RENEE THOMPSON, YORK Fr. / Oh / Jamaica, WI

The talented outside hitter helped spark the Cardinals to a perfect 2-0 week. Thompson, a native of Wisconsin, was sensational in York’s three game sweep of the College of Staten Island as she hit .375 from the floor (11 kills) and dug 30 balls. She continued her strong play with 8 kills (.333 hitting percentage) and 6 digs in the victory against Polytechnic. Thompson is averaging 5.31 digs and 1.89 kills on the season.
