Player of The Week - MATT ALDRICH, CAZENOVIA
Sr. / OF / South Hampton HS / Water Mill, NY

The senior is off to a fast start as he hit .500 (7-for-14) over a three-game stretch last week. The Water Mill, NY native went 4-for-6 with two doubles and four RBI in the opening game of a doubleheader versus Christendom. He went 2-for-3 and knocked in two more runs in the nightcap. The rightfielder also added a double against Catholic in the Wildcats first loss after sweeping the doubleheader versus Christendom.


Pitcher of The Week - JOHN DOBKOWSKI, JOHN JAY

The 6’0” hurler won two games for the Bloodhounds last week. The freshman tossed back-to-back gems against Becker and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, yielding just five earned runs in 15.0 innings of work. The Grover Cleveland graduate also fanned 15 batters and walked just one for John Jay during their week-long stint in Homestead, Florida.

Rookie of The Week - ERICK TYLUTKI, CAZENOVIA

The 6’3” freshman tossed a seven inning no-hitter against Christendom on the road in Virginia in his first collegiate outing. The Amsterdam, NY native struck out 10 batters and walked just three in the second game of the doubleheader for the Wildcats in their first season in CUNY.
