Player of The Week - TODD DACUNHA, CAZENOVIA
Jr. / OF/ East Windsor HS / East Windsor, CT

The junior helped lead the Wildcats to a 5-1 mark last week. The
East Windsor, CT native hit a scorching .682 (15-for-22), scored
seven runs, and drove in eight more during the stretch. The outfielder,
who also swiped four bases, had three hits in three consecutive
contests and recorded a total of five multi-hit games. In
the doubleheader against Baruch, the East Windsor graduate went
6-for-9 with five RBI and three stolen bases. He followed that up
with a 3-for-8 day in a twinbill sweep of previously unbeaten
Staten Island.
Pitcher of The Week - MIKE ETKIN, BARUCH
So. / P / James Madison HS / Brooklyn, NY
The sophomore came up huge out of the bullpen last week, delivering
the Bearcats their first victory of the season. The native of
Brooklyn, NY pitched 6.2 innings of relief and earned the win in the
upset of Cazenovia last Tuesday. In the outing, the James Madison
product allowed just five hits and one earned run, while fanning
nine batters and walking just two. He also struckout four batters
and allowed just a run in 2.1 innings of work against D’Youville to
finish the week with an outstanding 1.55 ERA.
Rookie of The Week - C.C. LANDON, CAZENOVIA
Fr. / SS / Corcoran HS / Syracuse, NY
The Wildcats jumped to a 5-2 mark in CUNYAC due in part to the
fine play of their exciting shortstop. The freshman went 10-for-23
(.434), scored nine runs, and stole six bases on the week. In the
showdown against defending champion Staten Island, the freshman
went 5-for-7 and scored four runs. He smacked two doubles
and drove in a pair of runs in the opening game and went 3-for-
4 in the nightcap. The Syracuse, NY native completed the week by
going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases in the victory against Lehman.
