Player of The Week - ERIC ZINKE, STATEN ISLAND
Sr. / OF/ Farrell HS / Staten Island, NY

The senior played a big role in helping lead the Dolphins to a 5-1
week and a perfect 4-0 conference mark. The centerfielder
batted .571 (11-for-24) with 14 RBI and eight runs scored. In the
doubleheader sweep of Lehman, the Farrell graduate went a
combined 5-for-7 and drove in six runs. He followed that up with
a five RBI day in the doubleheader sweep of Baruch. Earlier in the
week, the Staten Island, NY native drove in three runs in a victory
against Old Westbury.
Pitcher of The Week - MOISES WALTERS, JOHN JAY
Sr. / Murray Bergtraum HS / Brooklyn, NY
The 6-2 senior was extremely impressive in his two starting appearances
last week for the Bloodhounds. The Brooklyn, NY native
picked up a victory against D’Youville after allowing just one
earned run in a complete-game 7.0 inning performance. The
Bergtraum product fanned 12 batters and did not allow a free
pass. In his next outing, he was stuck with a tough loss against
Keuka after allowing just two earned runs in 7.0 innings and added
eight more strikeouts. He finished with 20 punchouts in 14.0
innings of work last week and finished with a 1.93 ERA.
Rookie of The Week - MIKE LICONTI, STATEN ISLAND
Fr. / Inf. / St. Peters HS / Staten Island, NY

The freshman hit an impressive .350 (7-for-20) and drove in tens
runs to help lead Staten Island to five victories last week. He saved
his best work for the last two games of the week when he went a
combined 4-for-7 (5 RBI) in the doubleheader sweep of Baruch.
Earlier in the week, he went 1-for-3 and knocked in three runs in
the victory against Old Westbury.
