Player of The Week - MICHAEL MCFALLS, HUNTER
Sr. / MH / Newtown / Woodside, NY

The senior helped lead Hunter to three conference victories last week by averaging 4.25 kills to go along with an outstanding .417 hitting percentage. The Woodside, NY native also added 15 solo blocks in five matches. The middle hitter recorded 16 kills against CCNY, 14 versus Lehman, and added 21 against York. He also added four solo blocks against non-conference foes New Paltz and Mount Saint Vincent. The Newtown High School product is averaging a team-high 3.91 kills and 0.88 blocks per game on the season.


Rookie of The Week - RYAN RAWLINS, YORK
Fr. / MH / St. Croix Central/St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

The native of St. Croix (U.S. Virgin Islands) had an outstanding week for the Cardinals, who went 2-2 last week. The freshman averaged 2.75 kills, 3.38 digs, and added 13.5 total blocks. The middle hitter recorded 10 kills, 12 digs and six assisted blocks in the conference victory against City Tech. He followed that up with 12 kills and 19 digs in the non-conference victory against Polytechnic. The St. Croix Central graduate also added 16 kills and 16 digs versus Hunter.
