Player of The Week - ANDRE EDWIN, MEDGAR EVERS

The junior helped lead the Cougars to three conference victories last week. The outside hitter enjoyed a solid .380 hitting percentage and averaged 6.36 kills and 3.55 digs per game. He opened the week with 16 kills in the three-game sweep of City Tech and then followed that up with a monster performance in the victory against Lehman, recording 33 kills and 24 digs in the five-game decision. The Grenada, West Indies native closed out the week with 21 kills against Baruch and is averaging 5.57 kills and 4.25 digs per game this season.

Rookie of The Week - LESZEK STANKIEWICZ, YORK
Fr. / OH / Newcomer/Tychy, Poland

The native of Tychy, Poland wins the honor for the second consecutive week after averaging 4.87 kills and 2.87 digs per game over a four-match stretch. The outside hitter compiled 22 kills and 15 digs against Lehman and also added 23 kills and 14 digs against City Tech. In a victory against Purchase, he added 11 kills and hit .421 from the floor. He also registered 17 kills and four solo blocks in a victory over CCNY. The freshman is averaging 3.32 kills and 2.56 digs per game this season.
