Player of The Week - THERESA TEPEDINO, STATEN ISLAND
So. / C-OF / St. Joseph Sea / Staten Island, NY


The sophomore catcher/outfielder hit .556 for the week and all of her hits went for extra bases. In total, she reached base in 11 of her 15 plate appearances. She began the week with a double and two walks against New Jersey City. In the opening game of a doubleheader against Baruch, the Staten Island native belted two doubles and drove in a run. She walked three times in the nightcap and scored two runs. The St. Joseph Sea product completed the week with two hits, including a triple and three RBI against York.


Pitcher of The Week - JOANNA LORE, HUNTER
So. /RHP / Curtis HS / Staten Island, NY


The righthander went 3-1 with a 1.46 ERA last week. The sophomore tossed three complete games, including a one-hitter in the victory against Lehman and a two-hitter in a victory against Manhattanville. Against Lehman on Sunday, the Staten Island Native fanned 13 and walked just two batters. The Curtis product struck out 11 batters against Manhattanville. She also picked up a win in the second game against Manhattanville after yielding no runs in 3.0 innings of relief.


Rookie of The Week - LUIGINA GUTIERREZ, HUNTER

The Bronx, New York native hit .529 (9-for-17) over a fivegame span last week. The outfielder enjoyed a big day in the sweep of Lehman, going a combined 5-for-8 with two stolen bases. She recorded the first of her three multi-hit games by going 2-for-4 with a double in the loss against Scranton. The Walton graduate also went 2-for-5 with a pair of walks in the two wins against Manhattanville.
