Player of The Week - CHRISTINA D’ARPA, STATEN ISLAND
Fr. / 3B-P / Moore Catholic / Staten Island, NY

The freshman enjoyed a sensational week at the plate for the Dolphins, hitting .655 (19-for-29). The third baseman/pitcher also drove in 16 runs and swiped seven bases. The Moore Catholic graduate opened the week by going 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles in the conference victory against Lehman and then added two more hits in the second game. In the league-victory against City Tech, the Staten Island, NY native went 4-for-5 with four RBI and added three stolen bases. She also enjoyed a 5-for-6 day with seven RBI in the doubleheader sweep of St. Joseph’s (Bklyn).


Pitcher of The Week - JOANNA LORE, HUNTER
So. / P / Curtis HS / Staten Island, NY

The sophomore went 4-3 with a 2.50 ERA for the Hawks last week. In five complete-games, the Staten Island, NY native fanned 37 batters in 37.0 innings of work. The Curtis graduate won two conference games on Saturday, defeating Baruch and Brooklyn. In the 7.0 inning outing against the Bearcats, she struckout 11 batters and yielded only three hits. She also fashioned non-conference victories against USMMA-Kings Point and Drew and earned a save in the second game against USMMA.


Rookie of The Week - ANNABEL AUMULLER, YORK
Fr. /P-CF / Queens Vocational HS / Maspeth, NY

The Maspeth, NY native went a perfect 7-for-7 at the dish in a doubleheader sweep of City Tech. The pitcher also earned a pair of victories on the mound. She went 3-for-3 with a pair of homers in the opener and then belted two more dingers and went 4-for-4 in the nightcap. She also allowed just three earned runs and picked-up two 5.0 inning, complete-game wins over the Yellow Jackets
