Player of The Week

ERJA VETTENRANTA, CCNY Sr. / OH / Jurva, Finland

The Beavers won their first two conference matches behind Vettenranta, the defending CUNYAC Player of the Year. The Jurva, Finland native averaged 5.18 kills (.383 hitting percentage) to go along with 2.55 digs per game as CCNY went 3-0 last week. The senior opened the week with 27 kills and 19 digs in a exciting five-game non-conference victory at Ramapo. She followed that dominating performance with 18 kills against Medgar Evers and slammed 12 to the pavement versus Brooklyn.

Rookie of The Week

LIDABEL MORANTA, LEHMAN FR / S/ Brandeis / Manhattan, NY

The Manhattan native looks to be one of the more talented setters in the conference after racking up 74 assists in three matches last week. The Brandeis product also added 12 service aces and eight digs. The freshman posted 28 assists and six aces in the three-game sweep of conference rival York on Saturday.
