The Beavers are still searching for answers despite solid efforts from
several players. Sophomore Obinna Efobi continues to dominate the
paint after averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds for the week, including

while freshman Darryl France has played well as a spot-starter.

home team shot an amazing 67% (12-18) from the three-point range and
still lost. Senior Howard Hutchinson had 16 points in the contest.
LEHMAN 1-0 on the week
Unbeaten in their last four games, the Lightning sit atop the North Division
standings as they head into a matchup with Baruch, last year's
division winners. Both teams are on a four-game win streak. Junior guard
Jonathan Rojas led the team in a four-point win over City Tech with 26
points, four assists and four steals. Newcomers Amil Hector (15 points)
and Luis Chavez (9 points) also had solid contributions for the surprising
lightning bolts.

beat a much-improved Farmingdale 90-86. Junior Malik Copeland led
the Evers effort with 22 points, while sophomore Jebah Clayton chipped

winner. Earlier in the week the Cougars lost to Brooklyn rival City Tech 86-
76, as four regulars sat out for disciplinary reasons.
NY CITY TECH 1-1 on the week
The young Yellow Jackets earned their first win of the season as
sophomore Sam Deadwyler nailed a career-high 41 points on 13 of 21
shooting. He followed that one up with 22 points in the close home loss to
Lehman. Jeff Thomas added 21, while the conference rebounding leader
Kwesi Joseph pulled down 17 and added 12 points and 7 assists.
STATEN ISLAND 2-0 on the week

they knocked off their third-straight New Jersey Athletic Conference

had 26 points, ten rebounds and four blocks in the game. CSI then beat an
overmatched St. Joseph's of Brooklyn 80-50. Defensive specialist Kassim
Nesbitt tallied 22 points, while Paul added 17. Freshman John Smith
saw plenty of minutes and grabbed 17 rebounds and scored 12 points.

the team went 1-3. The 6'3 forward averaged 12.3 ppg and five re-bounds,
while shooting well (22-43) from the floor. The Cardinals dropped
both games at the RIT tournament, despite 30 points and four rebounds on
