Player of The Week - Pavan Khurana, Brooklyn Sr./#1 flight / Hewlett, NY

One of CUNYs best tennis players ever, Khurana continued his onslaught with a 6-1,6-2 win over John Jay's Dino DiSaverio. Khurana, ranked as high as #23 nationally in Division III, has never tasted defeat versus a CUNY opponent in his four years at Brooklyn, including a 2-0 mark in the conference this season for his unblemished squad. Khurana (Hewlett HS) is coming off an injury from a year ago and is poised to take his fourth CUNY singles title.

Rookie of The Week - Anand Moses, Hunter Fr. / #1 flight / Bhubaneswar, India

Moses has stepped into the #1 spot at Hunter as a rookie and has been impressive from the start. The rookie out of BJB Nagar High School (India) improved to 4- 0 in CUNY play in both singles and doubles after a convincing 6-4,6-1 win over Lehman's Greg Van Voorhis and a doubles 8-2 triumph with Oded Meiron. The strong play from the freshman has the Hawks battling for third spot overall in CUNY.
