Player of The Week - Michael Guarneri, CSI Sr, 5'8, C/2B, Staten Island, NY

Despite only playing two games last week, Guarneri kept his bat hot, getting four hits in six at bats over the span. He also scored two runs, while driving in another as the Dolphins moved to 8-3 on the sea-son. After 11 games, the Tottenville HS alum is batting .514 with 8 runs scored and 12 RBIs.

Pitcher of The Week - A. J. Parrino, CSI Fr, 6'0, P, Staten Island, NY

Parrino threw five and a third shutout innings last week in the Dolphins 13-1 win over St. Joseph's (LI). In the outing the hurler from New Dorp HS gave up six hits and two walks while striking out seven batters. On the season, he's already 3-0 with a 1.99 ERA after 22.2 innings.

Rookie of The Week - Joseph Ruiz RUIZ, CSI Fr, 5'8, 3B, Staten Island, NY

Ruiz, academically a sophomore, makes it a clean sweep for Staten Island after a perfect day at the plate against St. Joseph's. In the romp, he was 4-4 with two runs and one RBI. On the week, the St. Joseph by the Sea HS grad was 5-8 at the plate and came around to score three times. For the year, he's batting .412 for the first place squad.
