Player of The Week - Marc Meo, York - Jr., FW, Jamaica, NY

The junior forward from Jamaica, NY, has warmed up with three goals for the Cardinals (2-1) in three games last week. In a battle for first place, Meo soared high for a cross at the near post, beating the CCNY keeper and his defender to the ball, heading it into the opposite corner for the game winner. Meo, a star outside hitter on the men's volleyball team as well, also scored his team-leading fourth goal of the year vs. Old Westbury.

Rookie of The Week - Santiago Helman, CCNY - Fr., MF, Queens, NY

The 6'1 Argentinian import (Marin HS), who resides in Queens, has bolstered the City College midfield with exceptional passing and understanding of the game. Last week he also proved that he can score when needed. Helman netted a pair of goals (one in each half) in the 2-0 win over visiting Mt. St. Mary, giving him three goals and two assists for the season.
