Burt Beagle - CUNYAC Statistician

Burt Beagle, a legend in New York City basketball circles, started as the first Sports Information Director at Baruch College back in 1968. Burt holds the record for most consecutive basketball games worked at any collegiate level. He has done the book and both teams' statistics for 835 consecutive games as of this printing, dating back to January 10th of 1969. Burt has not missed a CUNYAC Tournament game since he became the official statistician in 1970.

Beagle has also been the SID for CHSAA for over 25 years, and was inducted to its Hall of Fame in 1995. Burt received the prestigious "Distinguished Service” award at the Haggerty/Met Writers Banquet in 2001 and the first Ellis Bullock, Jr. award for service to CUNYAC.
