What has been the best part of being on the CCNY Women's Volleyball team?
The sheer joy of playing after a four-year break has given me great kicks.

What do you wish to accomplish this year?
The goal of winning the CUNY championship didn't come true this year, we were 2nd, but next year that will definitely be a realistic goal, as this young team gets more experienced.

What is your fondest memory of any season that you have played?
Back in 1992, when my club team won the Finnish National Championship.

What do you think is your best attribute or contribution to the team?
Experience.

What would you change about the team?
The attitude could be a bit more "professional" and focused at practice. Punctuality!

Are you glad to be at City College?
Very glad. I enjoy student life again and I am determined to finish my degree at CCNY, which has a great history, and I am happy to be part of it.

Do you find it difficult to play a sport and attending college?
Sometimes, during midterms especially, it can get kind of hectic.

What other interests do you have other than Volleyball?
Other sports like aerobics, fitness, etc. Biking, hiking, all the wonderful free things you can do in New York City, you name it. Like concerts and theater in parks, museums, etc. Travel.

What are some of your future plans, in Life?
I think the most important things in life are good friends and genuine enjoyment in whatever you are doing. To live "happily ever after."
