Family Medical Leave Paid and/or unpaid After 1 year of 1250 hours minimum worked Up to 12 weeks of job protected leave for your own or a family member’s serious illness, or for birth or
adoption of child.
Child Care Leave Unpaid When needed Up to a maximum of 4 years for permanent employees, varies for provisional employees
Jury Duty College When summoned by the court Full-time employees receive regular salary and carfare reimbursement check. Hourly employees, with permission, may make up lost hours on another day. Painters, Supr. of Mechanics excluded.
Military Leave College When orders are received Regular salary until leave is exhausted, (30 calendar days or 22 work days per year) then up to 4 years unpaid leave
Short Term Disability Union Immediately upon hospitilization or after 8 days Variable
