Lehman College/ CUNY Art Department is pleased to present the 2016 MFA/ MA/ BFA Thesis Exhibition. The work of this diverse group of artists represents a variety of styles and forms current in contemporary art.

New Director

Bartholomew Bland comes to us from the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers. With 22 years of museum experience, Bart holds an M.A. in Museum Studies from The George Washington University and a Masters in United States History from Hunter College, City University of New York. As Executive Director, Bartholomew will represent the Lehman College Art Gallery in all professional capacities, develop exhibitions and public programming, and serve as the main public contact and spokesperson for the gallery. Bartholomew has the experience and vision to build on the extraordinary history of the gallery. He took over in official capacity on May 2, 2016.

Take the Major Deegan Expressway (1-87) to the Van Cortlandt Park exit and turn left following Van Cortlandt Park up the hill. Make right onto Goulden Avenue. Go three blocks to college-the gallery is on the left in the Fine Arts Building at Gate 4. Parking is available.
Take the Saw Mill/Henry Hudson Parkway to the Mosholu Parkway exit. Take the right turn lane just before the traffic light and go one block to Sedgwick Avenue. Make a quick left then a right onto Goulden Avenue. Go three blocks to college- the gallery is on the left in the Fine Arts Building at Gate 4. Parking is available.
