Arts Integration Workshops

As part of our Arts for Public Schools program, multi-session workshops incorporate arts-based learning with the students’ curriculum. In these workshops, students develop visual thinking skills and apply them to their lessons in other parts of the curriculum. A teaching artist works closely with classroom teachers to demonstrate arts connections to the classroom curriculum. Projects range from quilts to clay artifacts to biome models. Sessions take place both at the school and at the gallery and its studio. The number of workshops and project themes are tailored to fit the needs of each participating class.
