Workshop Tours

Students in grades K through twelve participate in this introductory single-visit program in which they visit the gallery’s current exhibition or tour the public art located throughout the Lehman campus. Students develop critical thinking skills as they are guided through the gallery by a docent trained in inquiry-based arts education. This becomes the inspiration for a hands-on art project in the gallery’s studio. Teachers receive pre- and post- visit materials prior to their class trip to the gallery.
