An abstract installation composed of forty-nine upright posts marks the entrance to the 49th Police Precinct. Graduated in height, the steel structures create a field of blue on the plaza. Another of Ivan Chermayeff's public works, wall hanging, can be seen in the seventh floor lobby of the Family Court.
