Health and Hospitals Corporation

For the hospital's cafeteria on the 17th floor, Ilya Bolotowsky has created a geometric abstraction that covers an entire wall. Painted in bold primary colors with touches of black and white, the mural provides a rich addition to the decor of this very public space in the North Central Bronx Hospital. Ilya Bolotowsky created a much earlier public work in the Bronx, a mosaic at Theodore Roosevelt H.S. sponsored by the Board of Education/WPA/FAP. More about the Health and Hospitals Corporation
