Raul Sanchez Named CUNY Runner of the Week

Bronx, NY- Lehman College junior runner Raul Sanchez was selected as the CUNY conference Runner of the Week. The junior ran a personal-best time of 31:23 and finished 19th at the Vassar Invitational on Saturday, as Lehman finished fifth with 130 points.

"Raul is truly deserving of this honor," said Lehman head coach Lesleigh Hogg. "Raul is the anchor of the team, and we hope that he can continue to lead the Lightning to victory."

Teammate Amy Ruston was also honored on the women's side, as the Female Runner of the Week.
