Lehman Opens Indoor Track Season With Eighth Place Finish

West Haven, CT- The Lightning showed that they are working toward a very productive indoor season placing sixth in the 4x400 relay with Richard James, Daniel Gurdak, Issa Tall and Michael Francis. Michael also assisted the 4x200 relay to an eighth place finish. His teammates were Victor Rodriguez, Issa Tall and William Spies.

Cross country standout Raul Sanchez anchor the Distance Medley Relay team of Bill Agosto, Patrick Thompson and Richard James to an eight place finish. Also finishing eighth was the Sprint Medley team led by Captain Bill Agosto, on that team was Spies, Darius Carter and Thompson. .

On the individual side Victor Rodriguez finished eighth in the Long Jump with a leap of 5.93 meters. The team takes an exam break and will be back in action on January 6, 2006.
