men & women both lost
their dual meets to the College of Staten Island at the Willowbrook campus.
The men's team was highlighted by the 4 x 50 Medley Relay winning in a season's best 1:47.98 and Darnell James' best time in the 100 fly, 52.66 winning that event.
The women in losing to the Dolphins 117 - 55 were led by the fast backstroking of Luisa Garcia who recorded best times in the 50 (36.73) and 100 Backstrokes (1:24.14).
Next meet for the Lightning will be Tuesday January 16, at APEX against the York College Cardinals.
