The 2007 CUNYAC Men’s & Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held on Sunday, February 25th at the 168th Street New Balance Track & Field Center. The first event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Lehman will be looking to defend their women’s title, but CCNY will be the favorite to win the event. The Beavers, who were edged by the Lightning last season, went on to place third at the NCAA Championships last March. Alecia Watson, Jodyann Raymond, and Nicole Bailey should play a major role for CCNY on Sunday. Lehman is expected to get big performances from Dorothy Jean-Pierre, Francesca Tindal, and Janina Brown. Hunter, Medgar Evers, and York will also field strong teams

York can win their third straight championship but it won’t be easy. CCNY, Medgar Evers, Hunter, and Lehman have some terrific talent.
