Admissions Information

Basic admission requirements for the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies are as follows:

• A Bachelor's degree with at least a 3.0 GPA (grade point average) or its foreign equivalent at an accredited college or university.
• Submission of a personal statement including the areas you may want to pursue as a concentration.
• Two letters of recommendation
• Application fee: $125

Information Sessions

The Office of Graduate Admissions and the ADP program host regular information sessions about the MALS program. Graduate Information Sessions are designed to highlight the benefits and value of a Lehman College graduate degree and provide prospective applicants with an overview of the MALS program. It is also an opportunity to meet with faculty and learn more about the application process, tuition costs, and transfer credits. Four sessions will be held on Zoom this spring:
