The Africana Studies curriculum is designed to prepare students for graduate study and careers in education, business, community development agencies, federal, state, and city civil service, diplomatic service, research, and teaching on the elementary and secondary levels. In short, there is so much you can do with your education after graduating as the student will obtain an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary grounding. The flexibilty in critical thinking allows for greater opportunity in adapting to various professional opportunities.
