Art Department

Undergraduate Programs

The Department of Art offers courses in both Studio Art (course code ART) and Art History (course code ARH), as well as three undergraduate degree programs, including a 30-credit Bachelor of Arts in Art History (Art B.A. with Art History specialization), a 42-credit Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art (Art B.A. with selected Art Studio specialization), a 60-credit Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art (Art B.F.A. with additional Art History courses and a selected Art Studio Specialization), and a 58-credit interdisciplinary  Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics Imaging (Computer Graphics Imaging B.S.). B.A. and B.F.A. Studio Art majors select specializations, declaring one from these eight subplans: Ceramics, Computer Generated Imaging (CGI), Design, Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, or Sculpture.
