Starting in Spring 2023

Lehman College, in partnership with Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), has received funding from New York State Department of Labor to support the Cannabis Workforce and Business Development Program which will prepare individuals to set up and manage a cannabis-related business, as well as training for customer service, harvester, cultivator and security jobs at no cost. 

The New York State Department of Labor anticipates thousands of new jobs in the cannabis industry will be created in the next few years. Information sessions and business advising for entrepreneurs and small business owners will take place at the business incubator at CUNY on the Concourse and remotely.
