Advanced Certificate In Bilingual Education Extension- Intensive Teacher Institute- Clinically Rich Program-Birth-12
This program is designed for Bilingual Teachers who hold New York State Birth- 2nd grade or 1st grade - 12th grade; who are proficient in English and in a home language other than English, [Spanish for now]; and who seek a bilingual extension to teach their certification area in both languages. This certification will allow employment to teach in dual language or transitional bilingual programs.
This certificate in School District Leadership, leads to positions including superintendents, assistant superintendents, and directors. This two-year, full-time, hybrid program leads to a New York State limited permit as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and prepares you for full LMHC licensure. The program focuses on anti-racism and anti-oppression principles in effective mental health promotion, intervention, and treatment. Candidates work in community agencies, substance misuse programs, hospitals, businesses, and private practice. Individual, group, couple, and family counseling skills are addressed.
This program prepares students who have a passion to be in the classroom to teach a range of topics from computer science to programming for students in all grade levels.
