DESCRIPTION:The 2026 New Voices; The Student Playwriting Festival will showcase a series of premiere and original, short comedic plays and monologues written by Lehman College students and alumni, centered around the upcoming fall 2026 exhibit, “Does this taste funny?" This immersive performance festival experience, directed by Lehman alumni directors and faculty, invites audiences into an exciting arts ecosystem, spotlighting a unique blending of theater, multimedia and fine art to explore the value of humor in contemporary art as a powerful method for changing perception.
