A Message from the Search Committee Chair
Greetings,
Welcome to the official website for the Lehman College Presidential search. It is an honor and privilege to chair the committee which is charged with identifying a small group of highly qualified and talented candidates for consideration for appointment by the CUNY Board of Trustees and Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez.
Our committee includes representatives from key college and CUNY constituencies, including the Board, faculty, staff, students, and community members. In spite of the challenges posed to all of us during COVID-19, we are committed to supporting an open and inclusive search process by making the highest and best use of technology and by keeping you informed throughout the search. For example, we began the search by gathering input from hundreds of stakeholders across the campus community through virtual meetings and forums, as well as through an electronic survey. This information was then incorporated into the leadership profile which can be viewed here, an important document for communicating what we seek in Lehman's new leader and what we want new leadership to help us accomplish.
This website, which provides information and news about the search process, also serves as a place for you to share your thoughts on the search. We are being assisted by the executive search firm WittKieffer and encourage you to submit comments, nominations, inquiries or applications to the WittKieffer consultants at lehmancollegepresident@wittkieffer.com. The Search Committee expects to begin candidate review this fall.
