The Lehman College Alumni Association is bringing together alumni, family, friends, faculty, students, and staff for two great upcoming summer events—one by sea and another with pinstripes!

First, the Lehman Alumni Association presents a Summer Brunch Cruise on Sunday, Aug. 25, a 2-hour tour around New York Harbor and along the Hudson River on a Spirit of New York cruise ship. Boarding begins at 11:30 a.m., and the Spirit leaves the dock at noon, from Pier 61 of Chelsea Piers, off the West Side Highway at West 23rd Street in Manhattan. For tickets, go to tinyurl.com/LehmanBrunchCruise.

This is an excellent opportunity to invite your crew for a deluxe cruise experience that includes panoramic views of the New York City skyline and a buffet brunch with a complimentary glass of champagne. With plenty of room on the Spirit of New York ship’s four indoor (fully air conditioned) and outdoor decks to explore, plus dancing and games for all ages, this will be an event to remember.

Next, it's all about the pinstripes, as the Alumni Association invites one and all to join them for its 6th annual Lehman College Day outing to Yankee Stadium, where the New York Yankees take on the Los Angeles Angels at 6:35 p.m., on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Nothing beats seeing the Bronx Bombers at home, and with the Los Angeles Angels in town fans will also have an opportunity to see future hall of famer Mike Trout and designated hitter-pitcher Shohei Ohtani, winner of the 2018 American League Rookie of the Year award.

This outing includes a great customized souvenir only available at this event. Each Yankees game attendee with a ticket purchased through this popular Alumni Association offer will receive a special Yankees cap with an embroidered Lehman College Lightning logo on it.

Game time is at 6:35 p.m. Tickets for this special Lehman Alumni Association-sponsored event are available at five different price levels, and can be purchased through this link.

"The summer season is perfect for relaxation and fun gatherings outdoors, and these two quintessential New York experiences are great opportunities for those across the Lehman College family to get together and help support the Lehman College Foundation and its scholarship initiatives," said Robert Pagan, Lehman College's associate director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Fund.

A portion of the proceeds from both events will go toward the Alumni Association’s Development Fund and its support of the Lehman College Foundation. For more information, call Mr. Pagan at (718) 960-8048 or email him at Robert.Pagan@lehman.cuny.edu.
