EON Reality Inc., has partnered with Lehman College to offer a Augmented & Virtual Reality Academy and Development Lab. This is the first opportunity for CUNY students and NYC residents to participate in an 11-month applied course of study in this exciting field. Course work includes animation, 3D graphics, and web design with direct links to employment opportunities.

The field of Augmented and Virtual Reality is a fast growing sector in the tech economy. Deloitte Global predicts that Virtual Reality will have its first billion dollar year in 2016 and says that the field will grow in the future. More Info

Application Process

We Are Looking For You!

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic individuals who have both passion to succeed and a “can do” attitude. We are open to consider candidates with experience and a portfolio in gaming or web design. It’s a plus if individuals have an academic or industry background in computer science, web development, game design, architecture, engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar fields. Submission of an online application is the first step in the application process. In this online application, students will be asked to submit their background information, academic qualifications, work experience and interests. Apply Online Now

Screening Process

A selection committee will be formed including experts from Lehman College’s Information Technology Division and Computer Sciences Department. After review of applications, the committee will submit its recommendations for potential candidates. Successful applicants will be invited for a personal interview by the committee members.

Goals & Objectives

Spanning 11 months, the Virtual Reality Training Academy will immerse students directly in a professional context through real world projects. The approach promotes entrepreneurial thinking and knowledge. The problem-solving and group activities will help students to innovate and be prepared to join or launch a business upon completion of the training. View Curriculum
