Instructions for Authors

Submissions should be typed and double-spaced, and may be up to 8,000 words for an article or essay. Each submission of an article or essay should use a standard method of annotation and show the author's name and institution on a separate title page only. No papers can be returned.

The Bertrand Russell Society Quarterly publishes book reviews and review essays as well as articles. Long book reviews (app. 4000 words) are fine, and longer review essays (app. 6000 words) are acceptable too, if you have something to say. Please query the editors first about a book review or review essay.

Submissions to the Quarterly, including manuscripts, correspondence, and book reviews are preferred sent by email as Word attachments, but also may be sent as WordPerfect files or by regular mail. (If submitting by regular mail, please send two paper copies.)
